Setting up Yoco in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Yoco credentials:

  • Secret key — Yoco Portal → Sell online → Settings → API keys. Use the sk_test_ key while testing, sk_live_ when live.
  • Webhook signing secret — Optional but recommended. Register a webhook

Amounts are charged in ZAR (cents). Use a Yoco test secret key to try the flow without a real charge. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Yoco in WordPress?

You'll need a Yoco account and its Secret key and Webhook signing secret, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does Yoco support recurring subscriptions?

Yoco handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the Yoco checkout work?
