Setting up URWAY in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your URWAY credentials:

• Terminal ID — From your URWAY merchant onboarding.
• Terminal Password
• Merchant Key (secret) — The secret used to sign the SHA-256 request/response hash. Set your URWAY terminal Response URL
• Country code — 2-letter ISO country code sent with the transaction (e.g. SA).

Set the terminal Response URL in your URWAY portal to the URL shown above so payments confirm automatically. Confirmation is done with an authoritative signed transaction inquiry. URWAY is one-time only — recurring plans are billed once for the initial period. Amounts are sent with 2 decimals. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up URWAY in WordPress?

You'll need a URWAY account and its Terminal ID, Terminal Password, Merchant Key (secret) and Country code, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does URWAY support recurring subscriptions?

URWAY handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the URWAY checkout work?

Creates a hosted payment via URWAY’s JSON API, redirects the buyer to the target URL, and confirms with an authoritative SHA-256-signed transaction inquiry.
