Setting up Mercado Pago in PremiumPress
Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your Mercado Pago credentials:
- Access token — Mercado Pago → Your integrations → Credentials. A TEST- token runs in test mode.
- Currency — 3-letter ISO used when the order has none (e.g. BRL, ARS, MXN, CLP, COP).
Use Mercado Pago test users (buyer + seller) to try payments end to end. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up Mercado Pago in WordPress?
You'll need a Mercado Pago account and its Access token and Currency, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.
