Setting up FedaPay in PremiumPress

Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your FedaPay credentials:

• Secret key — FedaPay Dashboard → API Keys. Use the sk_sandbox_ key while Mode is Sandbox.
• Webhook secret — Recommended — enables reliable confirmation. Add a webhook in FedaPay → Webhooks

FedaPay settles in XOF/XAF (no decimal subunits). Amounts are sent as whole units. Payment confirms via the hosted page and is verified against the FedaPay API on return. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up FedaPay in WordPress?

You'll need a FedaPay account and its Secret key and Webhook secret, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.

Does FedaPay support recurring subscriptions?

FedaPay handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.

How does the FedaPay checkout work?

Real one-time payments via the FedaPay API (create transaction, generate a hosted token URL, verify on return), with a signed webhook for out-of-band confirmation. West Africa (XOF) focused. No SDK — direct REST via wp_remote_request.
