Setting up cPay in PremiumPress
Activate the free plugin, then open your theme’s payment settings and add your cPay credentials:
- API key — The secret API key from your cPay merchant dashboard.
- Webhook secret — Used to verify the HMAC-SHA256 signature on callbacks. Point your cPay webhook at
- API base URL — Optional — override only if cPay gave you a different API host.
Amounts are sent in major units (decimal). One-time payments only. Reconcile endpoint + field names against your cPay API pack. The plugin requires PremiumPress 12.

What do I need to set up cPay in WordPress?
You'll need a cPay account and its API key, Webhook secret and API base URL, which you enter in your PremiumPress theme's payment settings. The plugin itself is free for members.
Does cPay support recurring subscriptions?
cPay handles one-off payments in PremiumPress. If you need recurring billing, choose a gateway shown under the Subscriptions filter on the plugins page.
How does the cPay checkout work?
Hosted-checkout redirect with API-key auth, authoritative status verification and an HMAC-signed webhook. One-time payments only.
